Sushi Boy: Your quick Japanese fix

Sushi Boy has finally arrived in the heart of I.T Park. Lining up as one of the newly opened restos in Garden Bloc, they serve fresh and affordable Japanese food making it a go to place to satisfy your Jap food cravings from Lunch to Dinner.

Their concept is open air dining.  You’ll immediately notice the open kitchen where you can see how your food being is prepared. The chairs and tables are made up of recycled crates. And guess what, their main “building” is a remodeled container van. That in itself makes it a far cry from traditional Japanese restaurants but that also makes this place very unique and interesting.

We were immediately seated and given our menu. The choices range from Rice Bowls, Ramen, Yakitori, Maki, Sashimi and of course, Sushi. Prices range from Php50-350. Now that’s quite affordable if you want to eat Japanese food.

For our lunch, most of us ordered the rice bowls (cant get enough of rice lol), katsu dishes, and maki.

I especially loved my torikatsu (chicken + special sauce). I was also able to try the other dishes from my friends and I found everything delightful. Their Katsu dishes were perfectly seasoned and breaded. The servings were big enough to satisfy you. However, I was not able to try the Tempura Maki because I am unfortunately allergic to shrimps 😦 But based on the verdict of my food savvy friends, it was so good!

Will I be back? I definitely will.  The next time, I will surely try their other dishes, especially the Maki and Ramen.

Ciao for now!
